Features

Everything your fuel log needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

CarLog focuses on the numbers drivers actually use: consumption, costs and a clean refueling history.

Fuel consumption tracking

CarLog works out your real consumption in L/100 km (or per 100 mi) from your odometer readings and the fuel you put in.

Refueling history

Every refueling is kept in a clean history, grouped by month, with the amount, cost, odometer and consumption.

Fuel statistics & charts

See this week, month or year at a glance: distance, fuel used, average consumption, total spent and cost per kilometre.

Gasoline & LPG support

Filled up both petrol and LPG at the same stop? Record them as one refueling, each with its own liters, price and “Full tank” switch.

Vehicle information

Set up your car once: brand, model, optional year, fuel or energy type, current odometer, distance unit and currency.

Home-screen widgets

Small and medium widgets show your consumption, odometer and this month’s fuel cost without opening the app.

How it works

Three steps to knowing your car

  1. 1

    Add your car

Enter the brand, model, fuel type, current odometer, distance unit and currency. It takes a minute, and no account is needed.

  2. 2

    Record each refueling

Enter the liters, price per liter and odometer. CarLog calculates the total and remembers your last price.

  3. 3

    Review consumption & costs

After two refuelings, see your average consumption, monthly costs, trends and history — in the app and on your home screen.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What is CarLog?

CarLog is a car and fuel tracker for Android. You log each refueling — liters, price and odometer — and CarLog shows your real fuel consumption, your fuel costs and how they change over time.

How do I track fuel consumption?

Each time you refuel, tap “Add refueling” and enter the liters, the price per liter and the odometer reading. CarLog calculates the total for you and fills in the date, the odometer and your last price to save time.

After two refuelings of the same fuel, CarLog shows your average consumption. For the most accurate figure, fill the tank completely and keep the “Full tank” switch on.

Can I track gasoline and LPG?

Yes. Petrol (gasoline) and LPG cars can record both fuels. If you buy both at the same stop, add them to the same refueling — each fuel keeps its own liters, price and “Full tank” switch, and consumption is calculated separately for each fuel.

Can I review previous refueling records?

Yes. History lists every refueling grouped by month, with the amount, cost, odometer and consumption. Tap a record to edit it; deleting a record asks for confirmation first.

Does CarLog support home-screen widgets?

Yes. CarLog offers a small and a medium home-screen widget showing your consumption, odometer and this month’s fuel cost. The medium widget includes a Refuel button that opens “Add refueling”.

To add one, touch and hold an empty area of your home screen, tap Widgets, find CarLog and drag a widget into place. On supported launchers the app can also offer to place it for you.
